Following the recent success of its first public concert in Cambridge, Capriccio Music is pleased to announce that booking has now opened for the second concert in the series of three being given by the LPO Soloists during 2010/11. The second concert is generously supported by Deloitte LLP and will take place on 28th November 2010 in the magnificent debating chamber of Cambridge University's famous Union Society. The programme includes works by Mozart, Brahms and Prokofiev. Further information about the Cambridge Union Society can be found at www.cus.org.uk

The concert will include a pre-concert talk, details of which will be available shortly. Tickets are now on sale at the Corn Exchange Box Office, Cambridge, and prices range from £12 to £26. Further details about the LPO Soloists can be found at www.lpo.org.uk

Capriccio Music was established in 2009 by Liz Winter and Nigel Yandell

Liz Winter is a writer, fund raiser, former financial journalist and life-long music lover. She has years of experience in organising concerts and supporting young musicians. She is a director of the National Chamber Music School, Pro Corda and is a supporter of several orchestras and music ensembles. She is currently a Fellow of Corpus Christi College Cambridge where she is the Director of Development.

Nigel Yandell studied music at the University of York and went on to complete graduate studies at Wadham College, Oxford. As well as research interests in music he is an experienced solo pianist, accompanist, chamber musician and teacher. A contributor to the latest edition of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, he has lectured widely in the UK and Europe and was elected a Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, in 2001 - where he is currently Senior Researcher in Music. Formerly a director of the London Sinfonietta and Palace Opera, he is currently Senior Treasurer of the Cambridge University Opera Society, a director of Pro Corda and a trustee of the Cambridge Union Society.
