Capriccio Music is an organisation committed to the promotion, understanding and appreciation of chamber music.

Established in Cambridge in 2009, Capriccio Music has ambitious plans for 2010 and beyond, with a vision based around the following objectives:

  • Promoting concerts that aspire to the highest international standards
  • Identifying and developing audiences committed to the advancement of chamber music in the 21st century
  • Recognising and promoting new musical talent within the UK and beyond
  • Exploring and developing innovative and exciting programming
  • Providing performance opportunities for young artists
  • Promoting and encouraging the composition and performance of new works
  • Developing imaginative cross-disciplinary collaborations
  • Encouraging and supporting the development of chamber music programmes in schools and colleges
  • Promoting greater public awareness of the diversity and richness of chamber music and its traditions
